School Swimming Sports. The annual swimming championships of tho West Lyttolton School were decided at Corsair Bay yesterday. The boys clum pionship (100 yds) was won by Ogilvie xai qukar, with Boland May second. Tho gins championship (50yds) was Avon by v "™ Sproule, Jessie Gilray being second. A num her of other races were held, and several splashes provided much amusement. Harbour tight Theatre. To-night's programme at the Harbour Light Theatre is a benefit one for the Poultry Club Queen in the Baby Queen Carnival. A most enthusiastic meeting of lady supporters of the Lyttelton Rowing Club was held at tho Oddfellows' Hall on Monday evening, to make arrangements for stalls at tne tug-of-war carnival in aid of the funds 01 the club, to be held in the Drill Hall on April 22nd, 23rd, an,<l 84th, and stallholders were appointed. ' . ~ It was also decided *t the meeting to hold .» carnival dance on March 27th. Corsair Say. Corsair Bav is being vory heavily patronised this week, chiofly by high Bohoolß and colleges. On Monday tho students of Christ s College held their annual swimming sports there; yesterdav the Wost Lyttelton School held races at the Bay, and it was also the woekly beach day for the Lyttelton Ladies Swimming Club. To-day and to-morrow the Boys' High School and the Girls' High School, respectively, will hold their swimming sports at the popular resprt, and oh Friday similar sports will bo held by the girls of the Christchurch Technical. College.
