THE "WEEKLY PRESS."

i FOREIGN APPRECIATION. A Christchurch lady sends us the following extract from a letter received from the Hon. Sir Charles Todhunter, K.C.5.1., Madras, India: — "YoUr Christmas number of the 'Weekly Press' has excited much interest among;-our guests here, especially those that are keen on fishing, and they all say how wonderfully well it is got up. I am sending you a copy of the corresponding effort of our Madras paper, just to show you what we can do. It certainly is not such advertisement as yours is for the country, and yet there is much that is delightful and picturesque here, and a climate that is wonderful in that it gives you fruit and flowers the whole< year rbund." The same lady adds: "I have also had letters from the South of France, saying how much the 'Weekly Press' has been admired at Monte Carlo and Cannes, and everyone remarked on the splendid prdduetion it was."
