FOOTBALL.
TECHNICAL OLD BOYS ANNUAL MEETING. Last night at the Technical College the annual meeting of the Old Boys' Football Oltili was. held, the President (Mr C. J. Goldstone) being in the chair. There was kn attendance of (Shout fifty members. The annual report, which was read by Mr W. D. Johnston (lion, secretary), statod lhat eijflit teams had been entered tor the Canterbury Rugby Union's competitions, the junior team bein;.; runners-lip in the li Section, and thp Hlxth Grade B Team winning their competition without losing » match, Nine players had gained representative honours, four In both Senior B and Junior, and one in Third (ilrado. Tho membership of the club was steadily increasing;, there were now 135 names on the roll. The balance-sheet, showed a credit balance of i's4 IBs &d.
On the motion of the president, seconded by Mr J. Waddell, the report and balance* sheet were adopted.

It was decided that the annual subscription shouid be:—-Over IS years, 6s; under 18 yeara 3s 6d.
After some discussion it was decided to leave the matter of entries to a later meeting. It was agreed to leave the matter of electing selection committees until after the opening day, March 27(h. The Wellington Technical Old Boys' wrote, suggesting that the annual match should be played in Chvistchurch (luring the Buster holidays, ou Saturday. April 3rd, it was decided to agree to (his suggestion. At the conclusion of the business of the meeting, Mr C. It. McCallum presented Mr B. Coira with a frrimed photograph of the last season's junior team, which was coached by him.
LIN WOOD CLUB. The Lin wood Football Club held its thirtyninth annua] meeting last evening. There was a good attendance of members and intending members. , The balance-sheet showed a credit balance o; £Ol 17a lid.

Mr C. Craig's resignation was accepted. Messrs L. Edmonds and Frank Large were elected life-mambers of the club.
Mr W. Shaw proposed that tha secretary and treasurer should receive some token in recognition of their services during the la'«t year. This motion met with the complete approval of the meeting'.
