The* long-sought adjournment of the House of Commons until March 15th will bo accomplished on Wednesday afternoon as .the result of a, motion of closure carried on by ft majority of IS. • Tho v motion was introduced by th» Acting-Government Leader, Mr Edward La Fointe, tho Progressive Independents voting with tho Government in support of tho motion. Since the closure appeared in the Canadian House, 13 years ago, it rarely has beon applied and never before to a debate on the Addross-in-Reply.

Tho Address from the Throne was tarried in the House of Commons by 111 votes to 102. The Government majority was nine, . The House automatically adjourned until March 15th. In the interval the Government wilt prepare a parliamentary programme.
