In the House of Lords, the possibility of a Dominion representative being included in the House of Lords, when the latter is reformed, thus making an imperial House, was raised by Lord Strathspey, who is suggesting that the Imperial Conference should provide an opportunity to ascertain the opinions of Dominion Premiers 011 the subject.

Lord Strathspey askgd .if serious thought and consideration were being given to the conference. The Marquis of Salisbury in reply gave an assurance that the occasion would bo treated with all the seriousness it demanded.
