METHODIST CONFERENCE.

(PESSS ASSOCIATION TELKOSAK.) DUNEDIN, February 20. Trinity Church was crowded for the opening of the Methodist Conference. Immediately after tho opening esevciscs, tho Rer. Leonard Daiby, of Auckland, and recently of London, was welcomed to the Dominion as a member of the conference. The Revs. P. W. Knight and A. N. Scotter were then installed as president and secretary respectively. The Mayor attended the conierence, and extended to the representatives a cordial welcome to the city, to which Mr H. Holland, M.P., responded. The election of officers resulted:— Vice-president for 192<3, Mr D. C. Cameron, jun.; president for ID2T, Rev. H. Banston, M.A., Litt.D.; secretary for 1927, Rev, A. X.
