HARRIS BORDER TO MEET PHIL O'SHEA.
Two champions will try conclusions at English l'ark Stadium on Tuesday night next, when the winner of tho World's Derby, Harris Horder, will meet tho New Zealand champion JPhit O'Shea in a threo distance match race. Tbemeoting of O'SUica-and Horder is an event which has novcr been eclipsed since the sensational clash between Willie- Spencej: the American, and Phil O'Shea, at tho Stadium last year. Tho race is (in event, of national importance, for both are champions. O'Shea is the winner of Australian and Now Zealand championships, while Horder is a proved rider against th,e world's bpst. His list of successes iu Australia, America, France, ami Germany speak volumes for this enterprising and popular performer. Although (VShea's performances havo not extended beyond Australia, there, is no dpubt that ho is equal to tho world's best, find his kuowlodgo of the Stadium track should carry him to victory against his worthy opponent of undoubted ability. Horder will race in- tho two-laps open handicap, also in tho five miles scratch race oh Tuesday night. Tho supporting programme, is of tho most interesting nature. Withers's Syncopatcrs Band will ba in attendance.
