It appears nt 5-30 a.m. yesterday, deceased ifft Rruitt's house with a single barSled shotgun for the purpose of slioot'js rabbits, which were infesting the potation. He was not again seen ilirt. . . ~. H the inquest this morning witnesses stated that ho must have f ljpped, and, to save himself, put tho an down stock first, causing tho gun to fire.
