WALKING TOUR.
Y.M C.A. PARTY TO VISIT MARUIA A party of 30 members of the Y.M.C.A. Walking Club, under Mr E. A- B»Wa, wilt leave Christehurch on Boring Day on route (or Maruia, % beautiful scenic renort about 40 miles inland from Reeflon, on tho "\Ve#t Coast. They will travel to Culverden by train, and will walk from there up lie Waiau Gorge to Oldfields, where the party will Gfunp for the night. On December 37th, the traroper* will follow the Lowia river to the Saddle, and will then descend to Maruia. A couple of days will be spent in the buts at Maruta Springe, and the return journey will bo made by tjajn from Reef ton. The transport of supplier for th» party while ftt Maruia is being arranged by tho Ecefton Progress League.
