BUTTER AND CHEESE.

PRODUCTION IN AUCKLAND. (special to "the press.") AUCKLAND, November 29. The production of butter in the Auckland province is now being' well maintained, and the returns show that the yield during the last few weeks has been little short of that in the corresponding period of last season. The butter reoeived at the grading stores for the two weeks ending November 2oth totalled' 110.898 boxes, compared with 112,066 boxes for' the corresponding ■ period of November, 1924, .adecrease of 1142. For the fortnight ended November llth, this year's production was 1442 boxes snort of that tor the corresponding two weeks. Receipts of butter at the grading stores for the season to November 25th totalled 514,341 boxes, against 590,623 for the same period, of last season, a decrease of 56,282 boxes. Cheese reoeived during the last fortnight totalled 10,65.7 crates, an increase of 2400, when compared with 8257 crates, the output for the corresponding period of 1924. The total quantity of cheese received from the beginning of the season to November 25th is 46,355 crates, against 38,003, an increase of 8352.
