TRADE AGREEMENT.
ASGLO-GERMAN NEGOTIATIONS. (bt cable—pheß3 association—copyright.) (austbaijah and n.e. cable association.) BERLIN, November 27. It is semi-officially stated that negotiations between Anglo-Gorman delegations, on questions arising out of the Anglo-German trado agreement, havo provisionally broken off, owing to differences of opinion in regard to the interpretation of various points of tho Protocol, although an understanding has been reached in regard to the application of the respective Customs tariffs.

A. disagreement has occurred regarding the interpretation of a clause in the Protocol of the Anglo-German commercial treaty whereby the British Government pledged itself not to impose duties especially detrimental to Germany. The German delegates claimed that the British Customs duties on many German exports, particularly musical instruments, such as pianos, should be abrogated or considerably reduced in Tiew of this clause.
