BICCARTON PRESENTATION, The presentation social to the Hon. G. Witty, M.L.C, which is to take place on Wednesday evening next at 7.30 p.m., in the Tearooms of the lliccarton racecourse, promises to be one of the 1 most representative gatherings ever held in lticcarton. Supporters of Mr Witty from various centres of the lliccarton electoral district will attend for the purpose of making a suitable presentation to him on his retirement from the House of Representatives. For twenty-three years Mr "Witty continuously represented lliccarton. The committee has made all nrrangemuntj to cater for a large assembly. The .I'rimo Minister, the lion. J. G. Coates, .and several Ministers and local representatives . have announced their intention of being present at the function. An orchestra will be in attendnrice. and a successful evening is assured. The committee has also made arrangements for an attendant m the cloak room and for late trams to tho Citv.
