SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY
The fifty-fifth anniversary of the Oxford, terrace Baptist Sunday School was celebrated yesterday. The Rev. T. *W. Armour was the preacher in the morning, the Rev, S. J. Werrcn pave a special children's address in the afternoon, and the Rev. J. J. North preached at the evening service. A feature at the services -was the music rendered by a large choir under tho conductorship of Mr Victor C. Peters, with Miss V. Halliday at tho piano and Mr Melville Lawry at the organ. There were largo congregations at each servico, the qhurch in the evening being packed to its utmost capacity. The offerings, which were for Sunday School work, totalled £45 12s Cd. Prizes wero presented in the afternoon by Mrs North. The anniversary music is being repeated next Sunday.
