SANDERS CUP TRIALS. The second of the series of trials to select a boat and crew to represent Canterbury?,, in the Sanders Cup contest at Dunedin .next February will be sailed on the estnary this afternoon on a high tide. The race will start in the main channel opposite the Christchurch Sailing Club's headquarters at Monck's Bay at -3 p.m. The course will be to a buoy off Skylark Island (about centre of Tramway embankment, McCormick's Bay) and baek three times round. five fourteen-footers—three frcm Lyttelton and two from ilonck's Bay—will compete, and they may b« identified dermic the raoe by the colouring of the hulls. The competing boats will be:— Lyttelton ChiN—Lionet, green topsides, white bottom; Usher, dark-cleared topsides, green bottom; Magpie black t»p*ides, white, bottom.
