CROAT LEADER ATTACKS FASCISM. (bt cable—press association-coriuoy*.) (Stdnei "Sch" Siavxcu.) JjONDON, November 20. a The Vienna correspondent of the ''Daily Mail" reports that M. Stephen Raditch, making his first speech at Laibach, Jugoslavia, as Minister of Education, declared that if Italy start- 1 ed an adventurous policy she would rapidly discover that her frontiers were not "as holy and unassailable'' as Signor Mussolini described 1 them. 31. Raditch added that there was an immense difference between the great Italian peoplo whom he respected and the Black Shirts, who were a disgraceful blot on itahan civilisation. The speech has caused a sensation ia Italy, whose Minister in Belgrade demanded an apology. M. Nikola Pashitch, Prime Minister, summoned M. Raditch and other Ministers to au urgent Cabinet meeting, which held a prolonged sitting. A Vienna message publi&hed yestorday stated: A sensational revelation of an alleged Italian threat to make an incursion with 60,000 Fascists into Austria Has been made, according to the newspapers, by the president of the Pan-Germany Party, in a recent speech at Luiz. M. Raditch, the leader of the Croat, or Peasant, Party, and five other leaders of the Peasant Party were released last July at the special wish of the King, after ncarrly eight months' imprisonment for treason. On January sth this year after his party had been suppressed by Royal Decree, ho was accused of intriguing with the Soviet, and was arrested at Agram iu a secret room of the house of the deputy, M. Hochutitch, who had previously been arrested. After the Croats had served a short term, they were released with full pardon, M. Raditch later becoming Minister of Education.
