DEATH BY DROWNING.
(press association telegbah.) WELLINGTON, November 25. The mystery surrounding the death by drowning of James Bray, single, aged 65, was not cleared up at the inquest. Deceased was last observed walking along the seawall at Thorndon. No one saw him disappear. Tha body was subsequently found on the rocky foreshore. It was very windy, a' gale blowing at times. It is possible that deceased might have been blown into the harbour. The Coroner found that death was due to drowning, there being insufficient evidence to prove how he came to get into the water.
