A DIGGER'S 'VIEWS.

TO THE EDITOR OF "TKF, fRESS." Sir, —1 notice in to-day's paper (November 23rd), in tlio General News cohrmu, that a certain IJcverend J. li. G. Chappie, oi the •'.So More War Campaign,;' says: '\\'c ought to have an excursion to remove the horrible guns," as ho terms them, from the grass ploU at various places. In the iirst instance, "Who's 'We?'" Why should those guns be removed? .Haven't they much right.to i>e where they are? 1 would like to say that as tho guns have been won by the boys and Diggers who have lost their lives in the Great War, the returned Diggers or Anzacs have a. right to protest against removing them. AVhat have the guns got to do with the "No More War" campaign:- 1 think that tho rev. gentleman could not have had any mates, sons, or relations killed at the front, or he himself was not a Padro helping the wounds! and doiiis all he could for them at the front also. —Yours, etc., RETURN ED SOLDIER.
