DANCE RECITAL.
MISS IRIS MONTGOMERY AND PUPILS. Among many excellent items on the programme of Miss Iris Montgomery's recital this evening at the Caledonian Hall, the songcyeie "In a Persian Garden," with songs and descriptive dances, will be of interest. A Gavotte danced by three tiny people, cannot fail to please, and "Toyland," by two little golliwogs, and the dance of the Wicked Tom Cats, by four small pupils, should be very arousing. The Hawaiian ballet is a fascinating number, and "The Prince and the Fairies" gives scope for imaginative dancing. Miss Irene Slone will be scon in "V'alse Graceii&c," "Batterie." and tho "Flame Spirit," and in a most dramatic, dance, "The Mummy Awakes. " which is part of the ensemble of the Persian Garden. Miss Uoreen Olliver will givo a pas seul, besides dancing in a pas de deux with Miss Montgomery in the Harlequin ballet. Miss Joan Potter will give a solo dance, "Bubbles," while Miss Montgpmtry will be seen in two operatic solos and a spirited dance entitled "Gipsy Lad." There will be a number of other attractive ballets and choruses, and the programme will conclude with a ballet divertissement, "Harlequin."
