FOR KOYAL AIR FORCE. (PBOH OVR OWN CORBZ3POKMKT.) LONDON, October lc. At a reception given at the Stadium Restaurant, Wembley, by the Dominions Catering and Supplies Company, to officers and men of the Royal Air Force, Colonel A. F. Roberts, C.B.E. (New' Zealand Exhibition Commissioner), and Mr W. E. C. Reid (AssistantCommissioner) were among the guests. Colonel Roberts presented to the men of the Royal Air 'Force a Royal Blue New Zealand Ensign, remarking—after explaining the meaning of the flag—that if any of the men got lost in the air and found themselves near the "Southern Cross," they had simply to land there and he would guarantee they would be received with open arms and treated with kindness and hospitality. Flight-Lieutenant "Wombwell, Officer-in-Charge, thanked Colonel Roberts for the flag, stating it would occupy a conspicuous place in the men's lecture room. Mr Ernest McKinlay (Dunedin) who is singing in the New Zealand Cinema Hall, contributed two Maori songs, which were greatly appreciated. Rousing cheers were given for Colonel Roberts and tho Dominion of New Zealand.
