PROPOSAL TO RAISE A SPECIAL LOAN. ~~N pursuance and exorcise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and the "Reserves and Other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1924," the WAIMAIRI COUNTY Council propose to raise a SPECIAL LOAN of £6OOO, for the purpose of erecting a TOWN HALL at BELFAST. PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of powers conferred on it by the Public Works Amendment Act, 3 924, and tho Regulations as to the use of MotorLorries, gazetted March 26th. 1925. and September 24th, 1925, the Akaroa County Council intends to classify tho Main Akaroa Highway and the Summit road as under: — Main Akaroa Highway—From the County boundary at the Hill top to Akaroa: Second Class (i.e., availablo for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which with the maximum load it is licensed to carry weighs not more than 8 tons). Summit Road—From the Connty boundary at the Hill Top to Long Bay Saddle: Third Class (i.e., available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than, G tons).
