PROHIBITION ADDRESS.
" 4 . '.Hie Hon. Crawford Vaughan, exPremier of South Australia, addressed a meeting at the Liberty Theatre last night on Prohibition. He stressed the significance of the Canadian elections, pointing out that tho province of New Brunswick six weeks before had returned 40 "dfys" against 8 "wets," the Government being overwhelmingly defeated on account of its lax enforcement of Prohibition. Mr Vaughan was emphatic that Prohibition in America had succeeded beyond expectations, nnd that there was no chance of tho United States repealing her Prohibition law.
