ANNUAL COMPETITIONS. The Band of Hope competitions were continued last evening in the Choral Hall. A fairly good house greeted the performers, whose work was very highly commended. The judges were: —Maypole, action songs, etc., Aliss A. J. Menzies; tableau, Mr Fowler; vocal and pianoforte, Mr .Owen; squads, Mr Buckett. The results were: Tableau, own selection—Knox, 90 maVks, 1.
