A DIONYSIAN FESTIVAL.

PETERS-GRAY SCHOOL,

A Dionysjan Festival was presented at the i Caledonian Hall on Saturday afternoon by : pupils of the Peters-Gray School of Dancing, Elocution, and Mime, and was attended by a largo audience. This festival, known as the Dionysia, was kept in honour of the god Dionysius, or Bromios, who was worshipped as the God of all that was fruitful. The performers gave evidence of the great care that had been taken with them in their tuition, their movements being characterised by charm and grace, and in keeping with tho atmosphere of the festival.
