N. L. D. Webster) Mr F. <J. Murray presented the trophies Jo. last year s competitions and officially opened the courts for the coming season. The winners of the trophies were:—Ladies championship, Miss H. M. Dewar; men'" championship, Mr E. V. Gilmore; Indies' handicap. Miss A. Powell, men's handicap, Mr L. S. Dewar; combined, Miss H M Dewar and Mr A. Thompson. Mr Murray said it waa pleasing to £ < e the three fine courts and the increased membership of the club.
