A message from Tangier states that in the "VYezzan sector the French repulsed the Riffis and attacked, inflicting heavy casualties. Messages from Fez cover some aerial and artillery activity. The French are delaying further action pending consolidation. A message from Foz states that now that the French have occupied all their objectives on the Ouergha front, there is talk of the imminence of a big Franco-Spanish push into the heart of the enemy country, though preparations are being made to secure winter quarters for a number of newly-arrived regiments.
SPANIARDS'. GALLANTRY. DETERMINED DEFENCE OF OUTPOST. (reuter's TELEOBAMS.) 'Received September 15th, 10.10 p.m.) MADRID, September 14. A communique states that Primo dc Rivera visited Benikarrich and congratulated the defenders of Kudiatahar on their heroic stand, particularly the outpost garrison of 22, six of whom were killed and four wounded. The remainder, though worn out, held out against incessant- and furious attacks. Patrols sent out into ravines near Kudiatahar found only corpses.
SPANISH MUTINY. TROUBLE IN CRACK REGIMENT. MANY KILLED AND INJURED. (BSOTSa's TJLEGKAJtS.) (Received September 16th, 12.25 a.m.) LONDON, September 15. A crack Spanish regiment, ing at Malaga for Morocco, mutinied. Many were killed and injured in tho course of conflicts with the police.
