DRUNK. IN CHAKGE OF CAR. (PSBSB AS3OCIATIOH TBLEQBAM.) AUCKLAND, September 14. An. Auckland' doctor, whose name was ordered',to be suppressed, was 1 charged at the Police Court and pleaded guilty to having been drunk while in charge of a motor-car. Mr J. W. Poynton, S.M., ii a sentence of three days'' imprisonment. The defendant's counsel pleaded for a fine, as in a case last week in which another professional. man wa» concerned. " ; Mr Poynton: Yes; he was fined £2; but he damaged his car to the extent of £35. . . - . ■ Eventually he reconsidered the_ matter and imposed a fine of £25 in the present case. , J
