MR ROBERT MACARTNEY.
The death occurred in a private hospital in the City last night oi Mr Robert Macartney of Tai Tapu, in his 60th year? Mr Macartney had been in the hospital only, a few days. Yesterday morning he underwent an operation, from which he did not recover, and death occurred at 10 o clock last night. , The late Mr Macartney was bom it Tai Tapu in 1866, aa<l brought up wj 'fanning he- .tern ained a farmer all his life.
