THE REFORM PARTY.
MEETING AT WAIKARI. A well attended mooting of Reform doctors was held on Saturday night at Waikari. Mr W. W. Mcßao presiding. It was decided, unanimously, to support the candidature of Mr X. DCampbell. Messrs Mdßae and A. C. Allan wero appointed delegates to attend the conference at Amberley on August 18th.
RICCARTON SEAT.
LABOUR NOMINEES OFFERING. The postal ballot for the selection of a Labour candidate for tho Riccarton scat is being taken this week. The nominations receivod by the .Labour Representation Committeo are: Mrs E. R. McCombs, and Messrs C. Renn, G. T. Owen, and Winter Colo. Mrs MeCombs was nominated bv Mr J. A. McCullough, who contested tho seat in tho Labour interests in 3922, and by representatives of the Timber Workers' and the Drivers' Unions. '
HURUNUI. At a representative meeting of Reform supporters of tho Omihi district convened by Mr E. A. Foster, Mr A. Cameron was voted to tho chair. On tho motion of Mr Inch, seconded by Mr S. Burrows, it was decided to support Mr Armstrong at the coming conference at Amberleyj only ono member voting against the motion. Mr T. Croft was elected delegate, to attend tho conference at Amberley on August 18th.
