Although the counting of votes has not progressed sufficiently to give any definite idea of the result, on prosent figures it looks' as if Labour, the present governing party, and tho antiLabour forces, will bo returned with equal strength, 15 each. There is a possibility of Labour gaining the sixteenth seat by four representatives being returned for Denison. None of the three women candidates is likely to be successful. Later. There is no material change in the election figures. Every indication is that both parties will return an equal number of candidates.
