Congratulations on tho King's sixtieth .birthday began to arrive at the Palace early in the morning, including messages from all over the Empire. Messages came from the Prince of Wales in South Africa and Prince George, who is on route to Wei-hai-wei from Shanghai. Tho official celebration was the trooping of the Colours at the Horse Guards' Parade, Whitehall. Marshal Foch participated as representative of Franco. The weather was brilliant and the ground packed with sightseers.
