BRITISH-ISRAEL ASSOCIATION.
The monthly meeting of the Christchurch British-Israel "Association, which was held on Tuesday evening, proved moat interesting. The president, the Rev. P. H. Pritchett, contributed • c- paper, in which lie showed from various passages of Scripture that the writers of the New Testament had knowledge of tho existence, and location of the lost ten tnbes. An old member of tho Association, Mr John Baxter, who for some years has bean travelling in England and America, wa3 prfsent. and addressed the gathering. He spoke of several prominent men in the British-Israel movement he had met in his travels and of the great progress British-Israel teaching was making is both the Old and the >Tew World. Both Sir Pritchett and Mr Baxter were heartily thanked for their addresses. It is probable that steps will be taken by the united Aasociations to bring out from th« Old Country & notable leader in the movement to stir up interest in this country.
