"VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a » Special Meeting of the Board held on the 6th day of May, 1935, it was resolved by special order that tho Board proceed to raise L special loan of Fifteen Thousand Pounds (£15,000) to be applied by the.Board in the construction of electric works within the Milvorn Power District in_ tho acquisition of certain'. rights over or in connexion with; wrfating electrio works within tho said district,' in tho >paymei;i' of; all authorised expenses and debts, and is the installation and carrying out of all other, authorised works. Tho currency of ■ the said loan shall be for a period of Thirty-six and a-half (86£) years, commenoing, on the let day ol J-uly, 1925, and interest shall be paid tneroon at the rate 'of Five Pounds Fifteen Shillings (£5 15s) per oentum per. annum. The said loan shall be' raised by the Issue of One Hundred and Fifty (150) debentures of One Hundred Pounds _ (£100) each. All preliminary expenses inoidental to the raising of the said loan and interest and sinking fund for tho first year Shall be paid out of the said loan .and thereafter the interest and sinking fund shall be paid out of tho general fund of the Board. It was further resolved f iat the special rata of one-quartor of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property m the Malvern Electric Power District (struck on the 21flt day of October, 1924) being the security for the •said loan shall not be oollocted until further resolution by the Board tho sinking fund being duly provided for as above. The said resolution will bo submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the Board to be held on Tuesday, tho 23rd day of June, 1925. A ocgyy of tin said resolution is open for inspection at tho cffice of the Board at and at ithe (offices otf the Selwyn County Council and tho Tawera County Council at Hororata and Springfield respectively.
