LABOUR PARTY.
MR HOLLAND AT KAIAPOI. Mr H. E. Holland, M.P., Leader of the Parliamentary Labour Party, delivered an address in the Grand Theatre, Kaiapoi. last evening, the Mayor, Mr H. Macintosh presiding. Mr Holland dealt with the Labour Party's land and finance policy, speaking on the lines of his Christchureh address. He asked the audience to consider the main points of his address and urged them to take a keen interest in support of the ■party at the coming election. Messrs E. J. Howard, MP., and • T. Armstrong, M.P., also addressed the meeting. ~.,,., It was suggested that fortnightly or monthly meetings of the Labour Tarty should "be held at Kaiapoi. A resolution of appreciation, and thanks was accorded Air Holland for his address.
