BASEBALL.
A meeting ot the Canterbury Ba.Jeba'l Association was held last evening in the White Star Tourist rooms, Mr W. J. Heslcnuret presiding. Three new members were ciected.
It was decidvd that the season open on Saturday at- the Hagley Park Cricket Ground. Dun Eg April practice matches will be indulged in, tuo competition games for the D.C.L. Cup to commence on the first Saturday in May. A letter was received from the president. Mr H. P. Bridges, offering the club a donation, which was accepted with thanks.
