Bornau's wicket was the next to fall. After scoring 58 ho went out to one from Mayne and missed, and Austin quickly had the bafls off. New man did not last long, the fourth 'ball finding his wicket. OPERA COMPANY. Yesterday afternoon the Veterans' team played, tho J. C. Williamson's Opera Company at Hagley Park. The match was purely & friendly one, and a good day's sport waa enjoyed bv a fair crowd of spectatots. The Veterans' team won by 45 runs, the total scores being; Veterans' 150, and J. C. Williamson Opera Co. 105.
