QUEENSLAND POLITICS.
NEW PREMIER ELECTED. (Receiycd February 25th, 10.15 p.m.) BRISBANE, February 25. The Labour Party has elected Mr W. N. Gillies, Premier, in succession to Mr Theodore, who has resigned. Mr Gillies was previously Minister of Agriculture. [The resignation of Mr Theodore is doubtless due to his previously expressed intention to enter Federal politics.]
