At last njgllt's meeting Of the Council of Christian Congregations, a letter referring to the matter was received from tho Board of Management of St. Paul's Presbytorian , Church, alluding particularly to trams ahd motor-cars. The letter stated that if an appeal was made by the Council to the conductors of trams and owners of ears to minimise the noise when passing Churches during service, it might have much more effect than a request from a Single congregation.
