THE LATE MR W. H. GRAHAM.
THE FUNERAL. The respect and affection in which the late Mr W. H.' Graham, until recently assistant editor of "The Press," was held was manifested hv the large and representative* attendance which was present at his funeral on tSaturd.iy afternoon. Besides relatives . and friends of the family, the cortege was largely made up of newspaper men from * the offices of both morning and evening journals and those who were associated with -Mr Graham in the journalistic profession during the many years of his active work. Numerous telegrams and letters of sympathy were received by the bereaved family front all parts of the Dominion, and a l;irgo number of. beautiful wreaths were sent by friends in ;;nd around Cliristchurch. The graveside . service, which took place at the Bromley Cemetery, was 'conducted by the Rev. J. B. Bickerstaff, of Papanui. while the Rev. J. S. Young, of New Brighten, lod'iji prayer. The pall-bearers were old colleagues of the late Mr Graham on the staff of "The 1 Press." They were Messrs M. G. Keane, A. 31. Hester, A. M. Burns,A. Cant. J. R. Brunt, and H. W. L. Diabv. The chief mourners were 'Mrs W. H. Graham; Misses C. M.. J. A.; K M..' and B. Yv. -Graham. Messrs- J. A. and AY. M. Grahaift. Others-who attended were Mrs G. • McKay, Mrs Musgrave, Miss G.
