To-night, weather permitting, will aeo another programme of athletic and cycling events put through, and, with the marked improvement ?hown by many of the riders, it is safe to say the back-markers will find it hard to get into the money. Tho scratch race looks like a- gift Jor CTShea, but with Leathern on the improve and Henderson reproducing his best form, it should be a great finish. The 133 yds running race is sure to be a g*-od contest, as the majority of those competing are booked u|>. for big money during the holidays. In the event of the weather being doubtful, a Bign will be erected on the tram shelter, Cathedral square, saying wjiether the meeting is on or off. This shouid meet with the approval of the public.
