THE WEATHER. (sriciix to "thi puss. 1 ') GREYMOL'TH, December 26. Unsettled weather was' experienced throughout the West Coast to-dav, heavy showers falling at frequent intervals. The conditions t>his evening are not promising for the second day of the Hokitika races. Magistrate's Court. John William Gray was sentenced'to 14 days' imprisonment at Hokitika today on a charge of using obscene language. Messrs F. McGregor and E. Richards, J.P.'s, were on the Bench. G-reymouth Regatta. The Greymonth Regatta has now become a popular feature of Boxing Day, and a large crowd witnessed the various events, which were decided to-day on the river.
