PIGEON FLYING

The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club flew their third and last race from Waiouru recently. Twenty-three birds wero sent, divided between eleven owners. The birds were liberated by Mr A. E. Grant at 6 a.m., in fine weather, with a eoutherly wind, which was against the birds registering fast times. The winning bird, No. 4-23, the property of Mr F.
