Kach finds, with the exception of tho one who adopted the seventeen-year-old orphan, that child-raising requires the gentle hand of a mother. The}- had all fallen so deeply in love with tho respective children that it. seemed easier to get a. mother than lose tho child. The supporting cast includes Claude Gi'.lingwater, Craufurd Kent, Claire Adams, Willard Louis, Boyce Cpombe, Georgia Woodthorpc, Otto Hoffman, Pripcilla Dean Moran, De Bri*c Twins,, King Evers, and Milly Darenport. Hobart Bosworth is the star in the second attraction, 'The Brute Master," with Ann* Q. Nilsaon, who has often been called the screen's most beautiful blonde, playing opposite him. The story is by Mrs Jack London, and seldom has Bosworth had a story that eo ideally fitted him. He plays the rolo of <i hard-fighting, brutal, domineering sea captain, who ruled his littlo world by right of might—until a beautiful girl came alon«. She hated and feared him, and show, cd it. Thev arc cast aaboro, by the burning of their ship, on an island inhabited by friendly South Sea Islanders, and here tho story reaches a fine dramatic climax. There is plenty of action, some fine eea. views, and the fire scenes on the ship have seldom been equalled. Tho supports will include a Itoafih-Patbe comedy, "Sold at Auction," featuring Snub Pollard in the rolo of an auctioneer, and a special film showing the arrival and reception in Wellington of the new Governor-General. Sir Chas, Fcrcusson. The Liberty Quality Orehg&tra, under Mr Howard Moody, will play an attractive musical programme.
