At the monthly meeting of the Waltham School Committee there were present— Messrs 3. Shier (chairman), Symong, Hayward, Maisdcn, Gray, Smith, Turner, a:.d La-ngley. An apology was received from Mr bimmonds. i'he neadm*»'.er reported tha roil number at November SOth to be 688 and the average attendance 631. It w*3 Agreed to piocure an enlargement of the [i<rht-*e;zlit football team, which was unbeaten during 1024. Permi?s:oj was granted to the Walthani Ladies' Swimming Club to use the sciiool baih during the current ssoson. Messrs Turner, Hayward. and Marsdea were appointed a Visiting Ccmmittee io.- the ensuing twa months. 51r W. Symonds wa* appointed secretary, ia place cf Mr J. CioMaju. who had resigned.
