At last night's meeting of the TVaimairi County Council Cr. J. Seymour (chairman) said that in his opinion the roads in Canterbury were far too wide. "We have half a chain to spare on our County roads, and after my experience in the North Island I think it ivould be better if we had half-chain roads to run the traffic on arul not T-pcnd money ou the sides where n iuimeoessaij."
