The platform is an improvement on tho old one, being mora private. Thunderstorm. A mild thunderstorm passed close to th* port late yesterday afternoon, and shortly before six o'clock heavy rain fell. The large crowd of workers arriving by the 5.45 twin were caught in the downpour. Moat of them took shelter urrier nearby Teraadaha until the storm passed. About 7 p.m., a second thunderstorm broke right over tho town and was followed by light rain. _______
