WOOL SCOURING.

Sir, —Being one of many ivho has read; with great interest tho letters of your correspondent (E.J.W.) on wool, etc., that liavo appeared in "The Press" on different occasions, I would, with: your permission, like to ask him if he could giv© me an explanation why my wool (mostly merino fleece), after scouring, should be sticky, dull in colour, and harsh to tho touch. In the process of scouring I used good potash soap, and the wai-T at a temperature of 120. Voim. of-. WOOL.
