ELECTRICAL RESPONSIBILITY.
CO-OPERATION" IS SELF-HELP. There are numberless consumers ia ClliTstcliurcli who realise and re.'.dilv acknowledge the fact that their being served by the power lines is an ' : open sesame'' to innumerable benefits, both domestic and industrial. Too often, however, they iajl to recognise the obligation on themselves to assure others the sumo benefits. The Loan Poll, to be held on December 4th, gives rise to a particularly liappy combination of circumstances, in. that it enables present consumers to help others to more electricity, • at the same time benefiting themselves. "Co-operation" is decidedly "selfhelp" in this instance, because the larger the number of consumers the more efficiently and cheaply electricity can be supplied. That the sanctioning or the proposed loan will l>e followed: by untold benefits to all, can readily be gathered from a review of the immense electrical development tftat has taken place in CHiristchurch in the last few years. Help those awaiting supply by voting more electricitv on Thursday, 4th December. " —G
