ADDINGTON SCHOOL FETE.
In spite of the wet weather, there was a (jood attendance at the Addinglon school on Saturday, when a. fete was held with a view to raising funds to provide a free picnic for the children. The. stallholders were as follo-ws:— Cake Stall—Miss Beck. Fancy Stall—Miss Dowden. Ice Cream Stall—Mrs Middleton. Variety Stail—Mrs Peddie. Afternoon Tea Stall—Mrs Wear. Produce Stall—Mr H. Kennedy. A children's fancy dress conipelihca was also held, and was judged by Mr an<l Mrs R. Nairn. The awards were:Boys' Fancv Dress Poster-Masters luddey 1 H. A.'Axill 2, Cooke 3, Hoadley i, Bennett 5.
