Wellington College was established in 1367. but it is proposed to celebrate the jubilee this year, which is the 50th anniversary of the removal of the school to its present site., In the 'arrangements for .the celebration, the school, the old boys and the. Board of Governors are co-operating in rai endeavour to make the occasiou one truly memorable in the annals of the college. A great gathering of old boys is hoped for, and steps are being taken to get in touch with those who are far from Wellington. They are scattered allover New. Zealand, and; indeed, all over the world, but i 4 is expected that many will l>e able to come back to tho old school and renew association in the jubilee. For these a programme has been arranged extending over three days—Noveml>er 2&th and 30th and December Ist. Old boys who cannot come to Wellington will, it is expected, hold reunions on a smaller scale in other places. In all the chief centres of New Zealand there are sufficient old Imjvs to make such gatherings successful, and in overseas centres, particularly London, there are also considerable contingents.
