ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Christchurch Competitions Society, Mr A. H. Hobbs presided. The annual report and balance-sheet were presented, and showed that the 1924 festival had been a success, a > credit balance of £3l being shown. i The following ' officers were Patron, Mr R. C. Bishop; president, Mr T. I Williams; vice-president, Mr T. Newburgh; secretary, Mr T. F. Hah; treasurer, Mr : J Murphy; executive (six vacancies), Messrs A. H. Hobbs, J. W. Baty, Alley, Lane, j Lord and Dr. A'Conrt. Vote 3 of thanks were passed to the retiring president and other officers.
